SparkAM

Privacy Policy

Last updated

This privacy policy describes how SparkAM (“the app”), built by Patito, handles information when you use it. We’ve tried to write this in plain language. If anything is unclear, email fauzan27dp@gmail.com.

Information we collect

SparkAM does not collect personal information. The app stores data locally on your device and does not transmit it to a server operated by the developer.

How we use information

Any data the app stores is used solely to provide the features described on the app page. Your data is not sold, rented, or shared with advertisers.

Third-party services

SparkAM relies on the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy that governs the data they handle.

  • Apple App StoreAnonymous crash reports and aggregate install analytics provided by the platform.
  • Apple StoreKitProcesses in-app purchases and subscriptions. Payment details are handled entirely by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms; the developer receives only anonymous transaction receipts.

Data retention

Data stored on your device remains there until you delete it or uninstall the app. Uninstalling the app removes its locally-stored data from your device.

Children’s privacy

SparkAM is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Because the app does not collect personal information server-side, there is no central record to access, correct, or delete. You retain complete control of any data within the app on your own device. If you have questions about your rights under GDPR, CCPA, or similar regulations, please contact us.

Notifications

SparkAM requests permission to send local notifications, including time-sensitive notifications so alarms can break through Focus mode and Do Not Disturb. Notification content (the time, quote, and label) is generated on your device and is never sent to a server.

Choosing your own photos

If you choose to set a personal photo as an alarm background, SparkAM uses Apple's system-provided PhotosPicker. The picker runs in a separate process — SparkAM does not request or receive access to your photo library. Only the specific image you select is handed to the app, and that image is stored locally on your device to render the alarm. It is never uploaded, transmitted, or shared.

In-app purchases

SparkAM offers optional in-app purchases delivered through Apple's StoreKit. All payment information (your Apple ID, billing details, and payment method) is handled by Apple — the developer does not see or store it. The developer receives a transaction receipt from Apple to validate your subscription status; the receipt does not contain personal payment data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
